I offer to mediate any dispute – large or small – in accordance with the terms of the mediation agreement. My aim is to help you to resolve your dispute as  efficiently and economically as possible.

I also want to make mediation more accessible. I accept instructions to mediate low value disputes and I participate in the CMC’s Fixed Fee Scheme. I am also willing to mediate disputes pro bono (without charge).

I am offering to conduct one mediation lasting up to half a day pro bono (i.e. for no fee). Please contact me for the terms of this offer and for further details.

I have over 40 years’ experience of advising and representing clients involved in building disputes. I have practised as a barrister in England & Wales and in New Zealand. I have advised and represented parties on each side of disputes involving house building, engineering and construction contracts as well as PFI Projects.

I am able to assist with the mediation of other civil or commercial disputes and not just building disputes.

I am based in the South West but I am willing to meditate anywhere in England & Wales either in person or by virtual meeting. Please see the guidance for online meetings.
